When pigs can indeed fly!

When pigs can indeed fly!

You read that right! When it comes to the world of gaming, these digital piggies can indeed take flight, albeit, at your command. Following the massive success of the free game Angry Pigs, it’s now the turn for Bad Piggies, a spin-off to the former game. This one generated massive amounts of downloads within just three hours of release. The CEO of the Finland-based game developer said Bad Piggies reached No. 1 in the US iTunes App Store on the same day of its launch last September 28. “It’s been an incredible launch, both for the game and for Bad Piggies as a brand. We have an amazing audience who have shown fantastic support for all of our games throughout the year. Our fans have given this game an incredible reception — we can’t thank them enough!” said Mikael Hed. It added that the game is by far its fastest title to rise to the top of the charts. Players control the green pigs who appeared as villains in the original Angry Birds series. This time, the pigs need transportation to get to the birds’ eggs. The release of this game was celebrated worldwide, with launches in London, Taipei, Shanghai, and Hong Kong.

While complex games continue to soar in popularity, relatively ‘simpler’ games such as these that continue in same vein as Pac Man, are also wildly popular
