While getting tem porary
tattoos on Navratri might not be a new phenomenon, revellers leave no
stone unturned to stand out from the crowd. This time around, many of
them have ditched the regular upper arm, shoulder and back tattoos for
tattoos on their face in order to add to the festive mood. The fad is
particularly popular among men.Kunal Viras, an operations manager with a
travel company is participating on all nine nights and is not shy when
it comes to sporting one. However, they do play around with safe themes
like that of flute, dandiya, peacock feathers, Lord Krishna's picture
carefully decorated with colourful diamond bindis and sparkles; the
latter is quite a hit with the adventurous. Twenty-two-yearold Dhwani
Karia ikes keep up with the latest trends; she's planning to getting a
face tattoo done in floral design on the last day of Navratri.“I've
decided on wearing a long skirt and crop top with the right accessories
to go with the tattoo.“
