>> More than half the bones in the human body are in the hands and feet
>> The thigh bone or ‘femur’ is the strongest, heaviest and longest bone in the human body.
>> The smallest bone in the human body is the stirrup bone inside ears. It is smaller than a grain of rice.
>> Adult human bones account for
14% of the body’s total weight.
>> Bones are made of 50% water and 50% solid matter. They are hard, strong and very much alive like muscle tissue.
>> Humans and giraffes have the same number of bones in their necks — eight. The only difference is, giraffe neck vertebrae are much, much longer!
