After nailing a 42-yard field goal in the game, Gramatica jumped in joy and then descended to the ground, where he suffered a torn ACL. Gramatica's injury on the field goal celebration meant he was sidelined for the ensuing kickoff, and it was Pat Tillman, who handled the kick.

People claiming to be his neighbours took to a social networking site to post pictures of a U-Haul supposedly rented by Pierre-Paul filled with boxes of fireworks. One of those neighbours wrote, “I'm currently scared for my home's safety .''
