Taking the selfie craze to bizarre levels is the trend of divorce selfie. It refers to selfie uploaded by (former) couples who have just gotten a divorce.HOW IT STARTED: The first divorce selfie that went viral was taken by Keith Hinson and Michelle Knight in August 2014, which they took at the courthouse. Keith posted the selfie and captioned it, “We are officially un-married. Here's to the most friendly , respectful, and loving split imaginable. We smile not because it's over, but because it happened. #divorceselfie“ HOW IT'S DONE: All that has to be done is to take a selfie of yourself and your ex-spouse in front of the courthouse where the divorce was final ized, or holding up the divorce papers. Or the two of you could just be smiling in the pic and you could give it a soppy caption about how you can be #happilydivorced.
