स्थानिक प्रसारमाध्यमांनी दिलेल्या वृत्तानुसार, संजय हे रिक्षाचालक आहेत. संजयचे 10 वर्षांपूर्वी बेबी नावाच्या एका तरुणीशी प्रेमसंबंध जुळले. दोघे एकत्र राहून संसार करु लागले. त्यानंतर काही वर्षांनंतर संजयचे पुन्हा रिना नावाच्या एका मुलीवर प्रेम जडले. त्यानंतर संजय, रीना आणि बेबी हे तिघेजण विवाह न करता एकाच घरात राहू लागले. सध्या बेबीला एक मुलगा आणि एक मुलगी अशी दोन आपत्ये असून, रीनाला एक मुलगी आहे. पालघरमधल्या अनेक आदिवासी वस्त्यांमध्ये आर्थिक परिस्थितीमुळे अनेक जोडपी विवाह न करताच संसार करतात. अनेक जोडपी उतारवयात विवाह करतात, तर काहीजण मुले झाल्यानंतर विवाह करतात. संजयला परिस्थितीमुळे 8-10 वर्षांपूर्वी विवाह करता आले नाही. त्यामुळे त्याने आता विवाह करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला असून, पत्रिका छापली आहे. त्याच्या कुटुंबियामध्ये विवाहाची तयारी सुरू आहे.
