Bhavan, contains a stateof-the-art, 2,784-sq-metre cultural centre
housing a graphic studio, three studios for painters and sculptors and
two art galleries. The centre was built at a cost of Rs 44 crore.

This non-profit space was built to encourage the appreciation of the visual arts through education and dialogue, says Salgaocar. The 1,000sq-metre centre has two galleries, one for curated shows and one for emerging artists. It holds film screenings, book readings and runs an art school for children.
