SECRETS TO SMELLING SWEET THIS SEASON

When the weather gets warm and sultry, it also gives rise to body odour issues. The high humidity levels in the city can cause excessive sweating, which causes discomfort when we have to go out in groups or with our partners. Here are some ways in which you can smell sweet throughout this season.

SHOWER TWICE DAILY
Human sweat is a great medium for bacteria to multiply , which is what leads to the odour in the first place. So, the key lies in not letting them multiply . Showering twice a day helps. Use a mild soap, though.
USE AN ANTIBACTERIAL SOAP
A good antibacterial soap controls the growth of bacteria and helps to keep you odour free. If you suffer from any allergy or skin infection, consult a dermatologist before using an antibacterial soap. You can also address smelly feet issues with anti-fungal powder.
KEEP YOUR UNDERARMS CLEAN
Hair in the armpits can become a breeding ground for bacteria as it slows down sweat evaporation. Hence, get rid of unwanted hair from underarms and the groin area at regular intervals.
PERFUME YOUR PULSE POINTS
Instead of spraying perfumes on the wrists alone, you should apply them to the `hot spots' or areas such as the small of the back, the stomach, the back of the neck, and the ankles, so that the fragrance of your scent will last longer.
WEAR HAIR PERFUME
Fragrances that you spray onto your hair normally last longer as it absorbs scent more than the skin. So, with every flip of your hair, you can make sure that a waft of your perfume is released making you smell sweet.
WEAR BREEZY FABRICS
Keep away from synthetic fabrics and nylon in summer since they retain sweat.Wear cotton as it allows better ventilation and will help sweat evaporate faster.Wear loose and comfortable clothing.
KEEP HYDRATED
Drink plenty of water and other fluids throughout the day . When you are hydrated, the body temperature will remain low and you will sweat less. Also, eat a balanced diet -eat less spicy food and more of fruits, vegetables and food rich in proteins.
