Designer Gaurang presented a collection of very old traditional designs of kanjeevarams with kalamkaris bringing back the classic 1950s and 1960s look on the Indian Textile Day of Mumbai fashion week. With colours ranging from red, pink, orange to yellow, Gaurang’s believes fabrics like silk and bright colors can be adorned with heavy jewellery for weddings as well as other social occasions blending perfectly with the winter season mood. Actor Kiron Kher was slated to be the showstopper for his show.
