My Spiritual High Nausheen Ali Sardar, actor

My Spiritual High
Nausheen Ali Sardar, actor
As a child if someone told me a story of God or rules I would always ask ‘why’ instead of blindly believing in it. I grew up in a Catholic society and school, then went to a Sindhi college. My one question growing up was how can there be so many Gods? It didn’t make sense. I went to churches, temples, mosques and gurudwaras in search for my answer. In my heart I felt there is only one God I also didn’t like humans claiming to be gurus and asking their disciples to pray to them in times of need. My strong and logical mind couldn’t agree to bowing down to a human being.
Then one day when I lost my dad, I felt the need to find peace. I went for a 10-day vipassana course. And that’s where I found my answers So today, I am at peace. I believe in good karma and being a good human being. What is good and bad is all n our minds. So I keep it simple. Don’t harm or hurt anyone, stay away from negative influences and people and follow my gut. I onlu consider whatever I do to be good if it’s selfless and without expectations. I respect all religions and don’t disriminate.
