Be the real hero of your life

Be the real hero of your life

Every little effort in life is useful. A man breaking a big boulder would not be able to break it with just with one stroke, no matter how strong he may be. If the stone is broken into pieces on the hundredth attempt, does that mean the earlier 99 attempts went to waste? No! Every stroke made the stone weaker, which finally broke into pieces with one later stroke. Hence, we should not let our determination waver with a failed effort nor should we let our concentration deviate from the goal.
We must remember that a hero always emerges from nothing. Great achievers of life were not born as heroes; they made their way through thick and thin with strong determination and focused concentration.
Therefore, if one wants to attain success in life, one must inculcate certain values of life. Our present style of living seems to have discarded the social, moral and spiritual values of life, owing to which our thinking has also deteriorated. Now, we keep in touch with each other via the telephone and the Internet. Our entertainment is limited to the television.
Natural socialising, carefree laughter and family entertainment have become things of the past, which we try to compensate with the formation of ‘laughter clubs’. We have no experience of happiness and real achievement today. We curse our situation because we are not mindful of our own state of mind, which is more important.
Hence, before attempting to change the world, we must first try to change ourselves. We should never give up, but face any situation with strong determination and courage. Only then will we emerge as a real hero.
