EGG WHITE MASK Why
egg whites: Egg whites are a great source of protein, which is why they
can be used to heal, reduce and treat acne. They have astringentlike
properties and improve the skin’s elasticity, thus tightening pores.
They soak up excessive oil with their high levels of protein but do not
leave the skin feeling dry and stretched. A nightmarish problem for
every oilyskinned girl.
PROCEDURE: • Beat the egg white with one-teaspoon lemon juice.
• Apply it on a clean, dry face. Keep the mask on for 10 to 15 minutes or until it dries up.
• Do not talk, eat or move your mouth with the face pack on.
• Once the mask is dry and starts cracking, wash it off with warm water.

• Add a little water to get a paste-like consistency. You can also add a little yogurt or cream if you feel the mask is too drying.

PROCEDURE: • Crush half an avocado into a fine pulp.
• Add one tablespoon honey for cleansing and a little plain yoghurt if you want to soothe irritated skin. Also add quarter cup virgin olive oil.
• Apply the mixture to your neck and face and leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes.
• Wash off with lukewarm water.

• Add quarter cup honey and use a blender to get a fine paste.

LEMON JUICE AND SEA SALT MASK Why lemon juice and sea salt: This makes for a great invigorating mask. Sea salt works well in sloughing off dead skin cells as it is a natural detoxifier while lemon works as a bleaching agent. Lemon lightens scars and blemishes. With its anti-septic properties, it also clears dirt and bacteria thus preventing pimples and breakouts.
PROCEDURE: • Mix a quarter cup of sea salt with a little lemon juice.

oatmeal: Oatmeal has the best amino acid balance from all the grains.
