We have recently moved to a bigger house with a nice garden and trees. My daughter installed bird feeders but birds don’t come feed there... Make sure that the feeder is clean, as birds don’t feed from dirty dishes. They will not come, if they feel threatened. Hence, the positioning of your feeders plays a very vital role. Place them in a quiet secluded area that doesn’t see much activity. Another reason might be that there are already enough sources of food and water in that area, and the birds don’t need to feed from your feeder. Be patient. With time you will have more and more traffic coming in your garden. Ensure you only put out dry food. Our Chihuahua puppy is very active and friendly but the moment our eyes are turned she attacks almost anything and shreds it to pieces. Is there any way to put an end to this behaviour?
