Started in July, Shree Origin Fertility
and Gynaecology Centre, is
part of The Origin International
Centre. It is one of the leading
in vitro fertilization (IVF)
centres in India. It is a
blessing for couples
who are childless
and facing the problem
of infertility.
Founded by Dr Rajashree
Mane and Dr
Sandeep Mane, who
moved to Thane after staying
in the United Kingdom (UK)
for 12 years, the centre strives to
provide alternative treatment options
for poor patients. Infertility
is not just a physical problem but
also a psychological and financial
problem for many couples who
move from one clinic to another
spending their earnings to be
blessed with a child. The Origin
centre believes in giving complete
information and discussing all
treatment options with the couples
as per their situation.
The Origin Centre claims that
the first surrogate mother in
Thane district delivered here. It
also claims to have helped the
oldest mother in the district give
birth. It has successfully delivered
over 700 babies through IVF treatment.
Besides catering to patients
from all over India, it also draws
people from the US, Iceland, Australia,
the UK and Japan.
Situated very close to Thane station
along Gokhale Road, Shree
Origin is equipped with latest
equipment. The centre is managed
successfully by Dr Rajshree Mane
who has special certification from
the Royal College of London.
