How to upcycle old wine bottles

How to upcycle old wine bottles

FLOWER VASES Reuse wine bottles to create beautiful, eye-catching vases. You can either decorate the bottles with delicate lace or use nail polish to paint more intricate designs.

NIGHT LAMP
Turn an empty wine bottle into a recycled bottle lamp. The simplest way of doing this is to drill a hole in the bottle, insert a 100 watt LED light bulb. Put a gasket on the hole to secure the wiring. Plug it and enjoy your mood lighting.

CHALKBOARD BOTTLE
Wash the bottles and soak them in warm water. This way, the labels will come off easily. Buy a can of chalk board spray paint and apply two light coats. Now you can draw anything you want on them dinner party menu, messages for your loved ones etc.

PERSONALISED GIFT
This is a great gift idea and it's not very hard to create. Make your own infused oils, pour them into the bottle and stick a personalised label on the bottle. You can write whatever you like on that label.

BOOT STORAGE
If you have tall boots that tend to flop or fall over in the closet, put wine bottles into them to hold them upright. You can also fill the bottles with pebbles or sand.
